What is Farkle?
Farkle is a push-your-luck dice game built around a recurring decision: keep a result or risk rolling again. Different published and household versions can disagree about scoring combinations. This helper focuses on the physical workflow they share: roll a group of d6, keep selected faces and reroll the rest when your rules permit it.
How to use the presets
After a completed roll, tap dice to mark them Kept. They remain unchanged on the next roll. Release all starts a fresh set of eligible dice. The page does not validate whether a held combination scores, whether points should be banked or whether a new roll has farkled. Individual faces are more important than their arithmetic sum, so the preset uses a separate-dice reading.
Mark the scoring dice as held, then roll the unheld dice only. Keep track of the turn's points somewhere separate.
Practical table tips
- Agree on the scoring table before the first turn. A familiar combination in one version may have a different value in another.
- Use holds only after deciding which legal scoring dice to set aside. The interface will not stop you holding an irrelevant face.
- Record banked and at-risk points outside the tray. A fresh roll does not automatically preserve or erase either total.
Farkle dice FAQ
Can I keep some dice and reroll others?
Yes. Tap completed dice to hold or release them.
Does the roller calculate Farkle scores?
No. The displayed faces are a dice replacement, not a universal scoring system.
What about hot dice?
Apply your rules, then release all when you are entitled to roll all six again.
No scoring table, turn state, hot-dice validation or banking system is enforced.
Independent, unofficial dice aid. Game names identify the intended use; their publishers do not endorse this page. These original explanations are not a replacement for the rules.
