🦾 Lancer Dice Roller

Lancer dice roller with d20 checks, highest-d6 Accuracy or Difficulty and separate damage groups.

🎲 Dice tray

Choose a preset, then adjust the dice you need.

Reading: Loading preset

Click a die to roll. ENTER works when the tray itself has focus.
MODIFIERSArithmetic changes apply top to bottom. Pool-reading modes may ignore them.

What is Lancer?

Lancer combines character-driven science fiction with tactical mech combat. Its d20 resolution can include Accuracy or Difficulty dice, which change the test in a specific way. They are not a free pile of d6 to add in full. A clear dice tray needs to keep the base d20 separate from that pool and state which side of the calculation the extra die affects.

How to use the presets

Cancel applicable Accuracy and Difficulty before constructing the remaining pool. The Accuracy preset adds only the highest d6 to the d20; Difficulty subtracts only the highest. Enter other numeric bonuses separately when the rule calls for them. Damage should use a distinct preset, with groups named by damage source or type. The tool does not know a target's Evasion, E-Defense or the tags on your equipment.

AT THE TABLE / A QUICK EXAMPLE

D20 twelve plus Accuracy dice two, four and six gives eighteen before any other numeric bonus, not twenty-four.

Lancer dice FAQ

What happens with several Accuracy dice?

The reading uses the highest of that d6 group, once.

Does it apply both Accuracy and Difficulty?

Cancel them under the rules first, then select the remaining direction. The helper does not reconstruct their sources.

Is this a full mech builder?

No. It is a dice aid; licenses, loadouts, resources and target statistics are outside the page.
